Cassia Vera is Indonesian cinnamon obtained from the stem bark of Cinnamomum burmannii, a member of the Lauraceae family. It is commonly found in the Kerinci region of West Sumatra. The reddish-brown bark is peeled from the tree trunk, formed into quills, then dried and processed into various sizes, strips, or powder.
